Nicholas Dibs is running for GGUSD School Board because we need a School Board member who will:

  • Push to safely reopen our schools now! With virtual instruction as an option for parents who prefer their children attend school at home.
Students are missing-out on in-person instruction, harming and depriving them of receiving a good education! According to CDC Guidelines and Health Officer orders, outdoor dining is safe. As such, protocols can be implemented to also have safe teaching and instruction outside under canopies and tents.

  • Focus to bring back Wood and Metal Shop classes GGUSD eliminated at 10 intermediate schools, and Auto Shop classes cut from high schools: It’s time to help students acquire trade/CTE skills to obtain living-wage jobs!

  • Implement a GGUSD College Promise Program to provide up to one year of community college tuition for graduating seniors with guaranteed admission to CSU to provide students with a seamless K-16 opportunity!

  • Provide transparent and ethical leadership to hold the superintendent accountable and prevent alleged misuse taxpayer funds for the benefit of our GGUSD students and families!

  • Establish a non-profit GGUSD Education Foundation to help fund a “College Promise” program and increase funding for arts, music, sports, and more!

  • Reduce class sizes—starting with K-3—for better, more quality instruction.

  • Reestablish Youth in Government Day and the Garden Grove Youth Commission.

  • Propose and implement other much-needed positive changes.
